You Can Be A Rockstar Entrepreneur

ENTREPRENEURHave you ever looked at other entrepreneurs and thought, “What the heck do they have that I don’t”? Everything they touch turns to entrepreneur gold. They seem to exude superpowers.

When you’re struggling to keep the lights on and the doors open, it can be very frustrating to see these “super-preneurs” rocking it. But is there really a super trait they have that we don’t? Or do they have several traits in common that help them become the Iron Men of business, while we struggle to keep our heads above water?   

In fact, there ARE traits common among the super-successful. They include:  

They Do What They Love 

In the online arena, we can do almost whatever we want, but too often we see people start businesses that have little or nothing to do with what they love. They are not passionate about the thing that drags them out of bed in the morning.

It is incredibly important to love what we do. Think about it: we entrepreneurs work longer hours and sacrifice way more than a normal employee just to do what we love. Marc Anthony said, “Do what you love, and you will never work another day in your life. To love your product/service/job is paramount to rocking it. 

Build A Team of Giants

You are the average of the five people you surround yourself with. Look around – who is that? In business, you will go much farther and see much more success if you are surrounded with people who are terminally optimistic – the giants. The ones who can see the finish line and know you will reach it. The ink running thru their veins will be the same as your company colors. They get it, and they want to be part of it. 

Be The Voice of Expertise in Your Market ENTREPRENEUR

Rockstar entrepreneurs are the wolves in their given professions. They work daily to master their craft and stay ahead of the competition. They get up early and crush their daily goals. They are not perfect; they just work hard and take great pride in what they do and how they do it.  

Be Your Biggest Fan

Apart from loving what you do, you need to believe in it more than anything else. There is no fail, only do – or, as Yoda, says: ENTREPRENEUR

Believe in what you do so much that people think you are crazy. I mean, what does that cost? Elon Musk believed, Mark Zuckerberg believed, Steve Jobs believed – and they each created something that had never existed. They believed it into existence. WOW! 

Give 100% to everything that you do, and always have faith in yourself. You can succeed. All you must do is believe – and work hard. Did I mention that? 

ENTREPRENEURPay Attention to Growth  

I know this sounds simple, and it is. Focus on this metric, every day. There will be times when growth comes from a place you weren’t expecting. That’s okay. Grow where growth leads. Your business is your love story. Pour yourself into it daily, and it will grow. 

Care About Everyone You Meet 

If you can improve the lives of people you meet, you are already superhuman. This can seem silly and unimportant, but it will be the lifeblood of your company. Some people will not be your customers. That’s okay. Care about them anyway. Some people will need more than you have to offer. Care about them anyway, and do all you can for them. 

ENTREPRENEURControl Your Thoughts 

We can be our own worst enemy, or our mind can. You only have one life to live, so think well of yourself. When you fail, don’t beat yourself up. I have learned much more from failure than I ever learned from success. But if I had ever stopped growing because of failure and sat down to berate myself and think, “Well that’s it, I will never get this right,” I would have done a disservice to many people and businesses that needed my product/service/ideas. 

Dr. Seuss says, “Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!” The world needs what you have to offer – so control your mind and your thoughts!
